About the Person

OtterBox Former Chief People Officer, Diane B. Zile, joined the team in 2010. During her tenure, Otter Products, LLC has grown exponentially year over year and is known as an innovator of protective solutions for leading global mobile technology—with a mission to protect, connect and enable a mobile world. Diane is credited with leading the strategic growth of the Otter Relations team dedicated to creating environments where people can do their best work. The company has been nationally recognized as a “Great Place to Work” in both 2011 and 2012.   With more than 25 years of human resources experience, Diane has led strategies for selecting, developing and retaining employees for multiple Fortune 500 companies, including YUM! Brands and Macy`s. Just prior to joining the OtterBox team, Diane co-founded Whole Strategies, a strategic business consultancy, with fellow former YUM! Brands executives that enabled businesses to build holistic strategies for achieving breakthrough results.    Diane earned a Bachelor of Arts from Towson University in Towson, Md., and received her Master of Science from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. Diane enjoys hiking in the foothills with her husband David and their pups, Hilo and Kahu. She is passionate about theatre and the arts, as well as cheering on her local Colorado sports teams!
