About the Person

Ms. Cafritz was promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer in 2017, leading all human resources and loss prevention functions. Previously, she served as vice president, deputy general counsel. She joined CarMax`s legal department in 2003 as assistant general counsel. During her tenure, she managed commercial and consumer litigation, was responsible for operational regulatory guidance and led CarMax`s government affairs program. Prior to joining Carmax, she was a partner at McDermott, Will & Emory.
