About the Person
Des Thurlby is the Vice President of Human Resources at Seadrill Americas. Prior to that, Des had a short stint as the President at IMI Plc from May 2013 – September 2013. Previously, he served as HR Director at Jaguar Land Rover. Prior to that, he had also served at Ford Motor Company, Jaguar Cars Ltd and Land Rover. Des earned BA (Hons) in Politics and Economics from University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne in 1985 and Executive MBA from London Business School in 2004.
