Missouri Highlands Health Care is non-profit, community-owned organization. Unlike traditional health care practices, Missouri Highlands has a governing body, composed of volunteers from the communities we serve.
Debbie Miller Tarvid is the Chief Operations Officer at Missouri Highlands Health Care, effective October 15, 2014. Tarvid joined Missouri Highlands in October 2001 as Administrative Secretary. Through her hard work and dedication to the organization, Tarvid quickly proved herself a valuable employee and was promoted to Human Resources in 2005. Since that time, she has earned her degree in Human Resources and Management and served as Chief Human Resources Officer since 2007. Since 2009 she has also provided IT oversight for the organization. Tarvid is a 1982 graduate of Southern Reynolds County R-II in Ellington. She received her Associates from Ashwood University in 2007. Tarvid enjoys spending time with her family, outdoors, shopping for her grandchildren and time with friends. She and her husband J.C. Tarvid have one daughter, Krista Yarbro. Krista and her husband, Chris have blessed the Tarvids with granddaughter. Adalynn and soon-to-be-born Evan.
