About the Person
Debbie Kiser is Director of Corporate Education and Training for Novant Health.She provides leadership for development and linkage of education and training opportunities to meetNovant Health`s employees` and physicians` learning needs.Curriculums are designed in areas of clinical education, management and leadership, computer training, orientation and regulation.Her experience in healthcare education includes both patient and staff education.Her academic background includes a BS in Nursing from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and a MS in Nursing with a focus in Education from the University of North Carolina Greensboro.She has worked and trained extensively with leaders on management and leadership skills, including an extensive leadership training curriculum for healthcare leaders in Vac, Hungary.In her current role in Human Resources, she took the lead in development of mentoring and coaching programs for leaders, and is currently working on a Talent Pool development project.In her leisure time, Debbieenjoys travel and ballroom dancing.
