Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated (CCBCC) is the nation`s largest independent Coca-Cola bottler. CCBCC was started in 1902, when J.B. Harrison began selling Coca-Cola in bottles in Greensboro, N.C., launching North Carolina`s first Coca-Cola bottling company. CCBCC is still a family-owned and operated business. Board Chairman J. Frank Harrison, III, great-grandson of the company`s founder, became CEO in 1997. We make, sell, and distribute more than 250 brands and flavors in a wide variety of package types and sizes in multiple channels. About the Person
David M. Katz, also known as Dave, is the Executive Vice President, Human Resources and Product Supply and Assistant to the Chairman at Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated, effective April 1, 2016. In this role, Mr. Katz will oversee the Company`s Human Resources and Product Supply groups and continue to support the Chairman`s office in various strategic initiatives. Mr. Katz joined the Company in January 2013 as a Senior Vice President. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Katz served in multiple roles with Coca-Cola Refreshments and its predecessor, Coca-Cola Enterprises.
