Founded in 2012 by a team of Stanford University Professors and Ph.D graduates with a mission to commercialize research on Wireless Full Duplex Kumu Networks is revolutionizing the way wireless systems are built using its innovative full-duplex wireless design. Wireless full-duplex allows a radio to transmit and receive signals at the same time using a single frequency channel. Kumu`s patent pending full-duplex technology changes the basic assumptions on which current wireless radios are built, allowing for improved performance and reduced complexity in a variety of wireless devices and affecting all wireless markets.
Dr. David M. Cutrer, Ph.D., has been Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Crown Castle NG Networks, Inc. since May 2010. Dr. Cutrer served as Chief Executive Officer of NextG Networks Inc. since September 2009. Mr. Cutrer serves as the Chief Technology Officer of Crown Castle NG Networks, Inc., which Dr. Cutrer co-founded in 2001. Dr. Cutrer co-founder of LGC Wireless Inc. and served as its Chief Technology Officer and Vice President, Engineering. He serves as Director of NextG Networks Inc. He is a recognized expert on microcellular communication networks and holds multiple patents in the field. Dr. Cutrer earned his Ph.D. & Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley and holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Electrical Engi1neering and Applied Physics from the California Institute of Technology.
