About the Person
\r\n David Carson is the President and Chief Executive Officer at Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation, a subsidiary of Daimler Trucks North America LLC, a Daimler company, effective August 1, 2015. Currently, Mr. Carson leads all Human Resource management and Labor Relations activities for Daimler Trucks North America LLC. David provides leadership on policy development and implementation in the areas of talent management and acquisition, employee and management development, compensation, benefits, industrial relations, health & safety programs, and organizational development. He was appointed General Manager, Human Resources in July 2008 and a member of the Operating Committee in October of 2009. Mr. Carson joined Daimler in 2001 in a senior HR leadership capacity supporting the Detroit Diesel engine and components business unit. Since then he has held positions of increasing responsibility including Director, Labor Relations for Components and Director of Labor Relations & HR Operations for DTNA. Mr. Carson has a B.A. degree in Psychology and a M.S. degree in Industrial Relations from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.\r\n
