About the Company
Harmony Public Schools is a network of K-12 college preparatory charter schools across Texas. For more than a decade, our schools have provided students from under-served communities the opportunity to excel in their studies in a small classroom environment focused on providing the skills they need to succeed in life. The Texas-based non-profit organization was established by a group of dedicated educators and university academicians who were passionate about the way children approached math and science. Since 2000 HPS has grown to 46 campuses, 28,500 students, with a 98 percent graduation rate for seniors and 100 percent college acceptance rate. Our mission is to prepare each student for higher education by providing a safe, caring, and collaborative atmosphere featuring a quality, student-centered educational program with a strong emphasis on science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).
About the Person
A passionate educator, visionary leader, honest and loyal friend, thoughtful father, loving husband, humble individual. After working as teacher, administrator, and principal for more than 20 years, I now continue my service to public education in Human Resources area. Human Resource has important role in strategic planning in the school system. My responsibilities as CTO at Harmony are Human capital management, Talent acquisition, recruitment, Human Resource compliance, develop compensation plans, staff evaluation and development, Leadership growth. I lead several initiatives as part of Harmony`s Business Plan such as improve the staffing practices, workforce analysis, compensation plans, performance evaluation and professional development.
