About the Person

Dr. Daniel Sullivan serves as executive vice president of human resources of Qualcomm Incorporated. In this role, Dr. Sullivan has direct responsibility for all human resources functions at Qualcomm including: leadership development, organization planning, compensation, benefits, learning, employee relations, corporate social responsibility, staffing, employee communication and real estate for the Company's 21,000+ employees worldwide. Dr. Sullivan also serves as a member of Qualcomm’s executive committee. Dr. Sullivan joined the Company as director of human resources in April 1992. He was promoted to vice president of human resources in February 1994, to senior vice president in February 1996 and to executive vice president in August 2001. Prior to joining Qualcomm, Dr. Sullivan served in senior human resources leadership roles in the technology sector. Dr. Sullivan holds a Ph.D. in organization communication from the University of Nebraska. He also holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts degrees in communication from Illinois State University and West Virginia University, respectively.
