We receive raw vegetables and proteins through our delivery doors and we serve you these same items on our plates and in our bowls as nature intended and that means cooking without the use of fryers, heat lamps or so much as a single drop of oil - just a little bit of WaBa magic is all it takes!
All our products are "simply pure". They are grown according to methods used by our forefathers and harvested under close supervision, peeled by hand, dried in the shade, away from direct sun and stone ground. Harvest Select Catfish has been in business since 1991, selling a safe, quality, American made product. In the South, family, good food and good company are a way of life. It`s no secret that one of the most popular dishes in our part of the world is a southern tradition… a delicious catfish lunch or dinner. Harvest Select, one of the south`s most respected catfish processors, is a privately owned and operated, vertically integrated company. We have over 200 dedicated, trained personnel operating our processing plant in Uniontown, Alabama. Our company was founded in 1991 by five west Alabama farmers with 75 employees. Today the company has the capability to produce over 750,000 pounds weekly. We operate as a responsible and sustainable, vertically integrated company, directly involved in all key phases of our operations. This hands-on approach allows us to produce and distribute the finest quality U.S. farm-raised catfish on the market, while doing it in a cost efficient, environmentally responsible manner.
