About the Person
As Director of Administration and Human Resources, Colleen is responsible for the full range of human resource services, fleet and building services, and administrative functions including payroll, safety and security, and workers compensation. Colleen joined WaterOne in 2007, following over two decades as a human resources leader in both private (Fortune 500) and public sector organizations. She earned degrees in Personnel Administration and Organizational Communications from the University of Kansas and a master`s degree from Pittsburg State University with an emphasis in Organizational Development. She is a graduate of Stanford University`s Strategic Human Resource Executive Program and the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School`s Water and Wastewater Leadership Center. In addition, she has earned and actively holds professional designations of Certified Benefits Professional (CBP), Certified Compensation Professional (CPP), and International Public Management Association - Certified Professional (IPMA-CP). Among her other community and professional commitments, Colleen is currently Vice-Chairman of Community America Credit Union - a $1.9 billion financial organization - where she`s served on the Board of Directors since 1997. She has also served on the Blue Valley Recreation Commission since 2010 where she currently serves as Vice-Chairman and chairs the Finance and Risk Management Committee.
