About the Person
Cleveland Ferguson III is the Vice President of Human Resources, Compliance and Risk Management at Jacksonville Transportation Authority, effective July 13, 2015. Ferguson joined the city of Jacksonville in 2012 as deputy chief administrative officer. Drawing on his extensive knowledge and background, he will lead JTA`s Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and ethics programs; government affairs; human resources; internal audit; legal services; risk management; and safety and security. Ferguson will report to Ford. Prior to joining the city, Ferguson worked at Florida Coastal School of Law as a professor and served on the Jacksonville Economic Development Commission (JEDC). He is a recent graduate of Leadership Florida and a published author. Ferguson received his Juris Doctor from Florida State University and his Bachelor of Science from Nova Southeastern University.
