About the Person

Clemon Williams is the Director of Human Resources at City of Stamford.   Williams has been serving as the Acting Director of Human Resources since February 2014.   Williams comes to the position after a long and successful career in human resources and legal affairs, having worked as Stamford’s Assistant Director of Human Resources since 2012.   Williams previously worked for Sony Music Entertainment, where he worked for 20 years as Vice President and Senior Counsel for Business and Legal Affairs. He also served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney and as a staff attorney in the U.S. Department of Labor.   Among his many management responsibilities, Williams will lead the department and address key issues such as the negotiation of labor agreements and the reorganization of the Human Resources Department.
