Toronto, ON-based Falco Resources has Promoted Claude Leveillee as Vice President of Community Relations and Human Resources

 

About the Company

Falco Resources Ltd. is one of the largest mineral claim holders in the Province of Québec, with extensive land holdings in the Abitibi Greenstone Belt. Falco owns approximately 67,000 hectares of land in the Rouyn-Noranda mining camp, which represents 70% of the entire camp and includes 13 former gold and base metal mine sites. Falco`s principal asset is the Horne 5 Project located in the former Horne mine that was operated by Noranda from 1927 to 1976 and produced 11.6 million ounces of gold and 2.5 billion pounds of copper. Osisko Gold Royalties Ltd is the largest shareholder of the Corporation and currently owns 18.3% of the issued and outstanding shares of the Corporation. The Company is publicly traded under the symbol "FPC" on the TSX Venture Exchange. The corporate head office is in Montreal, Québec and the operations office is in Rouyn-Noranda, Québec.

 

About the Person

Claude Leveillee has more than 30 years experience on a national and international level in Human Resources and Community Relations.   Prior to joining Falco Resources, Mr. Leveillee worked with Agnico-Eagle Mines in various capacities, most recently as Corporate Director, Human Resources - Organizational Development. Mr. Leveillee had a critical role in Agnico`s policies and procedures for all local and international operations as well as the company representative and spokesperson at both regional and provincial levels.   Mr. Leveillee is a member of the Company Management Committee, which was recognized regionally and nationally as an employer of choice in the area of human resources, environment, community involvement and occupational health and safety. Winner of the ""Company of the year"" award for The Mercuriades competition of the Chambre de commerce du Québec in 2008 and of the Sustainable Development Award of Desjardins, given at a provincial level.
