The City of Carson is in Los Angeles County, California. There are about 100,000 residents in 19 square miles. The city is also home to many major corporations and California State University, Dominguez Hills. Carson has a five member council and operates under the council-manager form of government. The population is very diverse ethnically and enjoys a high standard of living with one of the best parks and recreation systems in the region.
