Asa Hutchinson was sworn in as the 46th Governor of Arkansas in January 2015, and immediately set in motion his plan to bring more jobs and economic growth to his native state. Governor Hutchinson kept a major campaign promise by working to pass the biggest income tax rate cut in state history. His initiative to require computer-coding classes in every public high school makes Arkansas a national leader and signals to businesses everywhere that our students will be prepared for the 21st century economy. As part of his strategy to market Arkansas and attract more jobs and businesses to the state, Governor Hutchinson already has met with CEOs of major industries across the globe from Silicon Valley to Germany, China, Japan, Israel, France, and Cuba. On the national stage, Governor Hutchinson has been a key leader on energy, security and education. Before being elected governor, Asa Hutchinson served as Director of the Drug Enforcement Administration and as the first Undersecretary of the Department of Homeland Security. Voters in Arkansas`s Third District also elected him to Congress three times.
The Boone County Democratic Central Committee represents the Missouri Democratic Party in Boone County and performs such functions required by the laws of the State of Missouri, the Charter and By-Laws of the Democratic Party of the United States, and the Constitution and By-Laws of the Missouri Democratic Party. The objective of the Central Committee is to encourage among all voters and citizens of Boone County, Missouri an active interest in governmental affairs; to increase the efficiency of popular government; to foster and perpetuate the ideals and principles of the Democratic Party; to encourage and develop leadership in the Democratic Party; to encourage party responsibility; and to maintain and promote harmony in the Democratic Party rank and file. The Central Committee promotes the interest of the Democratic Party and its candidates over those of the opposing candidates and political parties. The Boone County Democratic Central Committee meets the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm at the Boone County Government Center on Walnut Street (Click herefor a map). Bell County is a county located in the U.S. state of Texas. It is part of the Killeen–Temple–Fort Hood Metropolitan Statistical Area. The center of population of Texas is located in Bell County, in the town of Holland. Bell is named for Peter Hansborough Bell, the third governor of Texas.
