Hanover School Division is a public administrative body located in southeastern Manitoba, Canada, responsible for the management of public schools in the Rural Municipality of Hanover, City of Steinbach, Town of Niverville, and the community of Landmark in the Rural Municipality of Tache. The division operates under the direction of a board of 10 elected trustees representing six wards. Its offices are located in Steinbach, the third largest city in Manitoba.
The mission of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission is to create a fair, transparent, and participatory process for implementing the expanded gaming law passed by the Legislature and signed by the Governor in November, 2011. In creating that process, the Commission will strive to ensure that its decision-making and regulatory systems engender the confidence of the public and participants, and that they provide the greatest possible economic development benefits and revenues to the people of the Commonwealth, reduce to the maximum extent possible the potentially negative or unintended consequences of the new legislation, and allow an appropriate return on investment for gaming providers that assures the operation of casino-resorts of the highest quality.
In October 2002, all of the Community Development Districts entered into an Interlocal Agreement that created the Inter-District Authority to operate and maintain Town Hall. In 2006, the Districts agreed to grant the IDA additional powers to provide administrative, financial, and operations and maintenance services to the Districts and the Homeowners' Associations. The IDA was also appointed to act as the District Manager for each of the Districts and was granted authority to hire personnel to manage all of these activities. The current Interlocal Agreement sets forth the duties and responsibilities of the IDA as well as the allocation of expenses to member Districts.
