The Georgia Technology Authority (GTA) currently manages the delivery of IT infrastructure services to 89 Executive Branch agencies and managed network services to more than 1,200 state and local government entities. IT infrastructure services encompass mainframes, servers, service desk, end user computing, disaster recovery, and security. Managed network services include the states wide and local area networks, voice, cable and wiring, and conferencing services. Both categories of services are provided as shared services through a public-private partnership called the Georgia Enterprise Technology Services (GETS) program. A Multisourcing Service Integrator is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the delivery of services by multiple providers. GTA is responsible for service provider oversight and management as well as governance.
Established in 1913, the Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) has jurisdiction of over 2,700 miles of roads and maintains an additional 230 miles or state highways. We maintain the largest county road system in Michigan. In addition to roads, we also maintain over 1,500 traffic signals throughout Oakland County. Oakland County has the lowest traffic-fatality rate in Michigan and are among the lowest in the world for a community of its size and population due to safety improvements on many roads. The County of Santa Clara is located at the southern end of the San Francisco Bay and encompasses 1,312 square miles. The fertile Santa Clara Valley runs the entire length of the county from north to south, ringed by the rolling hills of the Diablo Range on the east, and the Santa Cruz Mountains on the west. Salt marshes and wetlands lie in the northwestern part of the county, adjacent to the waters of San Francisco Bay. The County of Santa Clara operates 27 parks covering more than 50,000 acres including scenic lakes, streams, and miles of hiking and biking trails.
