About the Company
Edgewater Beach Resort Management, Inc. began doing business as The Resort Collection of Panama City Beach in 2008, and in 2013 expanded to include other areas under the overall brand, Resort Collection. Resort Collection was created to reflect the company’s professional resort management organization and to allow each of the properties we represent to be showcased as a collective brand as well as individually. With a seasoned and professional staff, Resort Collection oversees daily operations for Edgewater Beach & Golf Resort, Emerald Beach Resort, En Soleil, Grandview East Resort, Long Beach Resort, Majestic Beach Resort, Summit Beach Resort, Shores of Panama, Sunbird Beach Resort, and Marina Landing. We work hard to ensure each resorts exceeds the expectations of our guests, and that our rental services supports the needs of our owners.
About the Person
Christy Smith is the Vice President of Human Resources at Resort Collection. Christy is a graduate of Johnson and Wales University in Charleston, South Carolina, and holds a degree in hotel/restaurant management. Since 1995, Christy has held HR roles in Bay County with companies such as Boardwalk Beach Resort and Bay Point Marriott, as well as Dale E. Peterson Vacations in Destin. Before joining the Resort Collection family, she worked in HR for the Bay County Board of County Commissioners.
