About the Person

Christine is a self-motivated, energetic and goal-oriented professional with over 8 years of progressive experience in the human resources field. She is a highly-focused individual with the desire to help an organization succeed through the effective acquisition, management and development of talent. She is highly valued by her peers and business partners and has a proven ability to exceed performance expectations in a fast-paced environment. She holds a bachelor`s degree in Human Resources Management from Saint Cloud State University and a Master`s degree in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management.   During her time at SUPERVALU, Christine has been given a great opportunity to work closely with leaders and employees across all corporate functions – including Independent Business, Procurement, Logistics, IT, Finance, HR, Real Estate, Corporate Development, Merchandising and Marketing – addressing employee relations, performance and behavior concerns; partnering with key leaders on succession planning and reviewing talent as it relates to their development and compensation; as well as coaching leaders through substantial reorganizations and the resulting change management. Additionally, she has overseen the summer internship program, and has partnered with her colleagues to revamp the New Associate Orientation program, exemplifying her project management skills.   While at Carlson, as a Recruiter and an HR Specialist, Christine successfully partnered with her colleagues in the areas of recruitment, on-boarding, performance management, and immigration. In addition, she had the opportunity to manage many company-wide processes as an HR/Benefits Administrator, including leaves of absence and benefits administration. She implemented various process improvements, and worked closely with leadership, utilizing the positive rapport that she achieved to guide their employment practices.
