About the Person
Chris Ouimet, 58, is acting head of Human Resources for Motorola Solutions. He joined Motorola in 1979. During his 34-year career with Motorola, Ouimet has served in a variety of HR roles with increasing responsibility. Prior to his current role, he served as corporate vice president of HR for the Sales and Product Operations organization while also leading the client-facing HR teams supporting the Motorola businesses around the world. Before that, he led various HR teams in support of Motorola businesses, leading people integration activities for acquisitions and earlier in his career led Motorola University East with a focus on product training and documentation. Ouimet has been a participant in the Chairman’s Leadership Forum, a select group of Motorola executives, since its inception in 2012. He holds a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Massachusetts - Dartmouth, and worked on a master of arts degree at Bowling Green State University, Ohio.
