About the Person
Cassie Chauncey is the Vice President of Human Resources at Viega. Prior to joining Viega, Chauncey worked with, trained and advocated for talented people across a variety of industries for the last 14 years. Chauncey has experience in several industries spanning from government to healthcare. An Oklahoma State University graduate, she holds a bachelor`s degree in psychology and earned her master`s and doctorate degrees from the University of Oklahoma in industrial organizational psychology. Chauncey is a member of many professional groups, such as the Association for Talent Development and Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM). She holds an SHRM certification, which is recognized as a professionally relevant credential for those who have mastered the strategic and policy-making aspects of HR management in the United States. Chauncey, a Kansas native, comes to Viega from Wesley Medical Center where she worked as a human resources business partner, managing day-to-day HR operations and evaluating the business operations to bring the right people on board. Prior to Wesley, Chauncey focused on training and development at NexLearn LLC as director of learning methods and research.
