About the Person
Ms. Caryn Gail Seidman-Becker serves as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Alclear, LLC. Ms. Seidman-Becker Founded Arience Capital Management, L.P. in August 1, 2002 and also served as its Principal and Portfolio Manager. In 2004, she created the Arience Foundation and The Happy Elephant Foundation which support charter schools, cancer research, child wellness, and the New York City community. Prior to founding Arience, Ms. Seidman-Becker served as a Partner at Glenview Capital Management. Prior to Glenview, she served as the Managing Director and Senior Analyst at Iridian Asset Management, where she was responsible for coverage of a broad spectrum of industries including cable, media, defense and aerospace, consumer products, computer services, specialty chemical, wireless and leisure. From 1994 to she joined Iridian, Ms. Seidman-Becker served as an Analyst at Arnhold & S. Bleichroeder, initially in risk arbitrage and later on in the private investment fund. She serves as a Director of Mt. Sinai Childrens Center and Central European Media (NASDAQ: CETV), a European media company. She received a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Michigan.
