About the Person

Carolyn D. Roberts is the Chief Human Resources Officer at KCI.   She will leverage her 30 years of experience working within the field to manage the firm`s Human Resources department.   Roberts has served as assistant director of human resources since joining KCI in 2008. In this role, she managed KCI`s benefits including the firm`s 401(k) plan, Employee Stock Ownership Plan, and supplemental executive retirement plan, in addition to establishing KCI`s wellness initiative.   Prior to joining the firm, she held a variety of leadership positions for Baltimore-area companies, including Becton Dickinson and Company, the Greater Baltimore Medical Center, the American Red Cross, Fila USA, Inc., and Black & Decker.   Roberts earned her bachelor`s degree in business administration from Towson University and her master`s degree in international business from Johns Hopkins University. She is a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Certified AVA Analyst, Predictive Index Analyst, and is Lominger Certified (interview, team and career architect).   Professionally, she sits on the board of the Worldwide Employee Benefits Network Baltimore Chapter and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management. Roberts is also a gifted musician.   She is a founder of and violinist for the Baltimore Philharmonia Orchestra and also a member of the Hunt Valley Symphony Orchestra.
