Raridon & Associates is a medical device distribution company with a focus on orthopedics. Our sole purpose is to bring orthopedic products and solutions to the market place in the most efficient way possible. Raridon & Associates was started in 1996 after being given distribution rights by Johnson & Johnson for total joint replacement products. In 1999 following a merger with Depuy Orthopedics, Raridon assumed the distribution of the new company, Depuy J&J. In 2012, Depuy J&J bought Synthes, creating the new company that became the largest medical device company in the world, known as Depuy Synthes. We also carry other product lines that cater to our core focus of orthopedic solutions.
The District of Lake Country is located near the centre of the Okanagan Valley and is made up of four distinct neighbourhood communities: Oyama, Winfield, Carrs Landing and Okanagan Centre. Lake Country is a beautiful, unique place, rich in its own cultural history. The District was incorporated as a municipality on May 2, 1995. Shortly after incorporation, a referendum was held and the residents decided to maintain their four, distinct neighbourhood communities. The result was the formation of the only municipality in British Columbia that currently utilizes a neighbourhood constituency system. This allows each of the four neighbourhood communities to elect one Councillor, with the mayor and two councillors-at-large being elected by all the residents of the District.
