Position Overview:
The Chief Financial Officer of CTCA reporting to the President and Chief Executive Officer leads the development and maintenance of financial planning, accounting, and reporting processes to support the organization`s market share and revenue growth, its use of resources, and its profitability. The CFO is also responsible for the safekeeping and privacy of CTCA`s assets and financial information, which requires the enforcement and refinement of various financial policies and controls throughout the entire company. Working closely with Operations, the CFO promotes transparency and accountability across the organization so that CTCA`s growth is responsible, its risks are visible and managed, and returns to the Shareholder(s) are superior.
Responsibilities:
• Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization`s fiscal function and performance.
• Identify and leverage the key business drivers to track performance and build on the CTCA value proposition.
• Attract and select top financial and business talent.
• Create a culture of engagement and collaboration amongst the corporate and site financial teams.
• Executive presence and ability to clearly communicate current state financial, risks and opportunities to the National Board, Shareholder Group and Finance Committee.
• Utmost integrity and compliance around the accounting and finance policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Managing and overseeing independent auditors.
• Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range financial planning and forecasting.
• Optimize the handling of bank relationships and initiate appropriate strategies to enhance cash position.
• Develop a reliable cash flow projection process.
• Collaborate with the Chief Information Officers on technological investments, Chief Talent Officer on labor management, Chief Operating Officer on financial operations management, Chief Strategy Officer on future model and strategy development, hospital Chief Financial Officers on hospital financial management.
Experience:
• At least 10 years of accounting or finance experience, of which 5 years must be served in a financial leadership role, including SVP, EVP or CFO.
• Experience leading a rapidly growing business`s finance operations, including ownership of Accounting, Financial Reporting, Budgeting, Purchasing, Payroll, and Accounts Payable processes.
• Healthcare background specific to hospitals and physician practices preferred, which includes strategic pricing, revenue cycle, reimbursement, payor contracting, decision support, and business intelligence functional leadership.
• Demonstrated track record of developing financial strategy and building the consensus and alignment throughout an organization to bring the ideas to reality.
• Demonstrated track record of leveraging technology and innovation to drive revenue and collections growth and/or expense reductions that resulted in improved profitability.
• Interpersonal skills that have developed advantageous and measurable relationships with lenders, payers, auditors, intermediaries, and customers.
• Bachelor`s degree required / MBA is preferred. CPA (certified public accountants) or CMA (certified management accountant) certification required.

• Strong experience in finance and accounting, compiling and managing budgets, organizational planning and human resource concepts
