We serve students and improve the student experience through advocacy and empowerment. GSB is the student organization which represents all students at Iowa State University. To do this, we work with other student organizations, ISU administration, the Ames community, the state legislature, and the Board of Regents to accomplish initiatives, set policies, and make sure students have a voice.
Office of General Counsel of the U.S. House of Representatives (“OGC”). OGC provides legal advice and assistance to Members, committees, officers and employees of the House, without regard to political affiliation, on matters related to their official duties. OGC represents Members, committees, officers and employees, both as parties and witnesses, in litigation and in connection with requests for information arising from or relating to the performance of their official duties and responsibilities. OGC also represents the House itself in litigation, both as a party and as amicus curiae in cases in which the House has an institutional interest. NCLEJ was founded in 1965, in the heyday of the civil rights movement. From the very start, NCLEJ staff joined with southern civil rights lawyers in landmark cases, worked with community-based organizations around the country, won ground-breaking victories in the courts, and achieved major reforms in legislation and agency policies and practices. Through these early successes, NCLEJ demonstrated that the law can be a powerful instrument for improving the lives of the most disadvantaged members of our society. For more than 50 years, NCLEJ has led the way in advancing economic justice across the country through class action litigation and policy advocacy; securing systemic reform in the delivery of income support and related human services; and safeguarding important legal and constitutional rights. The Arizona Court of Appeals is the intermediate appellate court for the state of Arizona. It is divided into two divisions, with a total of twenty-two judges on the court: sixteen in Division One, based in Phoenix, and six in Division Two, based in Tucson.
