For more than 45 years, College of the Canyons has served as a gateway to higher education, professional training, economic development and, by extension, opportunity for residents of the Santa Clarita Valley and beyond. Ouachita was established in 1886, and it is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Ouachita offers undergraduate programs of study in the liberal arts. Small classes are the norm rather than the exception and Ouachita`s student to faculty ratio is approximately 13:1.
