HR Execs on the Move

BuildMyMove was founded by lifelong moving industry vet Daniel Cunningham, Jr. The platform development has been in progress for 20 years and was officially founded in Mr. Cunningham's basement in Philadelphia, PA in 2007. In late 2010 Mr. Cunningham partnered with Rich Cray to grow the company to battle the antiquated moving industry. Shortly after the partnership began, the company landed institutional backing from Five Elms Capital, a late stage venture firm that backs technology enabled service companies. Immediately thereafter, the company relocated to Overland Park, Kansas, a suburb of Kansas City.
