About the Person
Brian McQuaid is Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, reporting to the President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. McQuaid is the key advisor to senior management on all human capital issues and sets the HR agenda that enables Fannie Mae to meet strategic goals and objectives. He leads HR service delivery in the areas of organization and talent development, diversity and inclusion initiatives, compensation and benefits, and direct business support through the HR business partners and shared services groups. In addition, he oversees Corporate Facilities and Corporate Security. Prior to his current position, Mr. McQuaid served as Vice President for HR Shared Services, Corporate Facilities and Security, and Interim Chief HR Officer. Before joining Fannie Mae in 2006, Mr. McQuaid held the position of Senior Vice President – HR Service Delivery with MCI Telecommunications and was responsible for all HR support of the US-based business, including staffing, HR Service Center, and employee relations. His previous positions at MCI included Vice President – HR, and Director – HR. Before joining MCI, Mr. McQuaid was Director of HR with Citizen's Bancorporation; Benefits Consultant with Meltzer & Associates; and Executive Vice President – Retail Banking, Senior Vice President – HR, Director – HR, and Retail Branch Manager at Washington Bancorporation. Mr. McQuaid has a master of business administration in human resources administration from George Washington University, a bachelor of science in business administration – finance from Georgetown University, and a labor relations certification from the University of Michigan.
