Brent A. Babow is the Vice President of Human Resources and Risk Management at JV Industrial Companies. Previously, he had also served at MarketLive Inc. and TIMEC Company. In his legal practice, Mr. Babow represented and advised clients in a wide variety of industries.After 6 years of practicing law, he went to work for The TIMEC Group, a specialized industrial services provider with nearly 3000 employees in over 15 states and overseas.He helped grow that organization from $55 Million to over $130 Million in revenue in 9 years, while holding several key positions, including General Counsel, Vice President, and COO.He co-led a management buy-out of the founder, participated in several acquisitions, created new divisions and generally was responsible for strategic planning and development of the management team. After selling his interest in TIMEC, Mr. Babow became a Management Consultant.He specializes in assisting organizations with strategic and tactical planning, the development of high performing management and professional teams and providing expert advise in a wide variety of situations, including managing accelerated growth, business re-positioning, executive leadership, and mergers and acquisitions.Mr. Babow is a skilled facilitator, guiding the planning and problem solving processes at all organizational levels.He works closely with the owners, principals and managers at the senior and executive levels, providing guidance and direction in strategic and operational planning, problem solving and a wide variety of cultural change and organizational development issues. Mr. Babow has appeared on both the McNeill-Lehrer News Hour and the ABC Nightly News, testified to the California legislature, and been a speaker before a variety of industry groups. He earned his bachelor`s degree in Economics from the University of California at Davis, and his law degree from Hastings College of the Law.
