About the Company
It`s a mission the Westlake City School District takes seriously and strives to promote to our more than 4,000 students and approximately 600 staff members. The district consists of three K-4 elementary schools, a PK-4 elementary school, an intermediate school for grades 5 and 6, a 7-8 middle school and our high school. The Westlake Schools, located at the western edge of Cuyahoga County, consistently earn the top ""Excellent"" rating on the state report card, placing us in the top 4% of districts statewide by providing students a foundation in the basic skills, while offering programs and courses that encourage individual academic success. Our program is driven by a Continuous Improvement Plan that guides the district in every aspect of its performance. We also enjoy strong support from our parents and community.
About the Person
Brady Sheets is the Director of Human Resources at Westlake City Schools. Prior to that, Sheets served as principal at Fairview/Mayer from 2011 - 2015. Sheets also was assistant principal at Olmsted Falls High School for five years, assistant principal at Lee Burneson Middle School in Westlake for one year and principal at Fort Jennings High School for three years. He taught English and was the athletic director at Arcadia High School for five years. He has experience in professional development, district budgets, human resources and continuous improvement planning. Sheets has an undergraduate degree in English education from Bowling Green State University, and a graduate degree in educational administration from the University of Findlay. He is working toward a doctorate in urban education and educational administration at Cleveland State University. Sheets lives in North Ridgeville with his wife, Lorena.
