Brad is the Director of Attorney Recruiting & Professional Development at Gunster - Florida`s Law Firm for Business. He is responsible for managing the hiring of all shareholder-level attorneys, as well as lateral and entry-level associates. Brad directs the firm`s summer associate screening, on-campus interviewing, and hiring process for the firm’s eleven offices and is responsible for all aspects of the firm’s multi-office summer associate program. In addition, Brad is responsible for directing internal professional development efforts for the firm`s shareholders and associates, and is the administrative liaison to the firm`s Diversity, Mentoring, Women`s Leadership, and Associate Development committees. He has recently been re-appointed to The Florida Bar`s Diversity & Inclusion Committee (2014-2017). Prior to joining the firm in 2004, Mr. Sprayberry practiced environmental law and handled general legal/business/employment matters in both law firm and corporate in–house settings and was an attorney recruiter for national search firms specializing in lateral associates and partners for AmLaw 200 law firms and Fortune 500 law departments. He is active nationally in NALP and is a past president of NALP`s south Florida City Group (SFALP). Sprayberry was recognized as a Diversity Champion-Disabilities in 2015 and is a co-author of NALP`s Diversity & Inclusion Best Practices Guide (2014), and its Lateral Recruiting Best Practices Guide (2007 & 2009). He was elected to serve as NALP`s SE Region law firm representative to the national nominating committee (2007-08), and has served on NALP Technology and Leadership Development Task Forces and various other Work Groups.
