The City of Philadelphia`s Department of Aviation includes the Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), the only major airport serving the nation`s seventh largest metropolitan area, and the Northeast Philadelphia Airport (PNE). PHL is a large hub airport, serving approximately 81,000 daily and nearly 30 million annual passengers. As of fall 2018, 26 airlines, including all major domestic carriers, offer more than 500 daily departures to nearly 140 destinations worldwide.
