About the Person
Barry Q. Brittingham, Jr. is the Human Resources Director at The McCready Foundation. Bringing ten years of human resource experience, he guides the reorganized department into the future. Brittingham is a United States Army veteran having served in Iraq, Afghanistan, Germany and several locations in the states. He has spanned the levels of organization dealing with Army personnel since 2000. In 2007, he began a career at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center climbing the ranks from specialist to manager. During his military career, he received numerous honors including the Army Good Conduct Medal, the Army Achievement Medal and other service awards. He is a member of the Disabled American Veterans. Brittingham, a native of Berlin, returned to the Eastern Shore in 2012, received an Associates of Arts Degree in Business and is continuing his education in human resource management at the University of Maryland University College with an expected graduation date of 2016.
