The Missouri Baptist Foundation develops, manages, and distributes financial resources to benefit mission and ministry efforts of Baptists in Missouri, in the state, across America, and around the world. Established in 1946, the Missouri Baptist Foundation began with three accounts and assets of about $80,000. It has grown to manage more than $158 million in assets today, representing nearly 1,000 accounts. In fiscal 2014, the Foundation distributed nearly $12 million in principal and income to Baptist and other causes in Missouri and around the world. The Foundation is directed by the Board of Trustees and is operated by staff at its headquarters in Jefferson City and at satellite offices in St. Louis and Kansas City.
