About the Company

About the Person

Avi has over 20 years of management experience in the telecommunications industry with expertise in semiconductors, systems and solutions. Prior to joining MultiPhy, Avi established and served as General Manager of Private and Alternative Networks Line of Business at Alvarion (NASDAQ: ALVR). During his time at Alvarion, Avi also served as VP Marketing & Strategy, leading the WIMAX business and product strategy and marketing activities of a $250 million annual business unit. Prior to Alvarion, Avi was VP R&D at Tiaris Inc, a fabless semiconductors company which developed devices for Multimedia Home Networking over Coax infrastructure. Before Tiaris, Avi served as Director of Broadband Communications Products at Metalink (NASDAQ: MTLK), a fabless semiconductors company that develops broadband communication devices. Avi also held senior R&D and management positions in an elite R&D unit of the Israeli Ministry of Defense. Avi holds a BSc and an MSc in Electrical Engineering from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology and is an SMP Graduate of the Technion Institute of Management.
