Anthony M. Parasida, 59, is Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Administration, for The Boeing Company and a member of the Boeing Executive Council. He oversees leadership development, training, employee relations, compensation, benefits, diversity initiatives, privacy and corporate administration. He also leads Boeing`s Global Corporate Citizenship organization and the Shared Services Group, which is responsible for providing common infrastructure and services to Boeing businesses. Parasida, a 37-year company veteran, served as president of Global Services and Support (GS&S), a business of Boeing Defense, Space & Security, since 2009. With more than 295 locations worldwide, GS&S is the largest performance-based logistics contractor for the U.S. Department of Defense and global customers, and is an industry leader in providing maintenance and sustainment services to both Boeing and non-Boeing products. Before joining GS&S in 2009, Parasida spent three years as vice president and general manager for Surveillance and Engagement Systems within Boeing Military Aircraft. Parasida began his career at Boeing in 1978 as a structures engineer on helicopter programs. Since that time, he has held numerous roles of increasing responsibility within aircraft design, Integrated Product Team leadership and program management, including program manager for the V-22 Osprey, the F/A-18 Hornet and the P-8 programs. Currently, Parasida serves on the boards of directors for World Business Chicago and GetInChicago, an organization centered on fostering safer communities. Parasida holds a bachelor`s degree in civil engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and a master`s degree in engineering management from Drexel University.
