About the Person
Annette Givelekian is the Senior Vice President of Human Resources Administration at Arbor Commercial Mortgage. During Ms. Givelekian`s 18-year tenure with Arbor, she has contributed significantly to the growth of the company and to Arbor`s Human Resources Department`s development. In her new role, she will focus on the further growth of Arbor`s rich employee base and the enhancement of the company`s overall employment experience. Ms. Givelekian began her career with Arbor as Human Resources Manager and, during her advancement through the years, was instrumental in many initiatives, including the development of the Employee Handbook, the Employee Referral and Orientation Program and the automation of employee evaluations. She has also played a critical role in managing the company`s benefit plans, including the medical, dental and 401(k) plans. Prior to Arbor, Ms. Givelekian held numerous managerial positions within the human resources departments for such New York-based companies as MMT Sales, Inc., Sara Lee Bodywear and Leveraged Technology, Inc. Ms. Givelekian received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Stony Brook University and her Master of Business Administration degree from Adelphi University, where she graduated with distinction. She currently resides in Laurel Hollow, NY.
