About the Person

Angela Hildyard is Vice President, Human Resources and Equity at University of Toronto. Hildyard is responsible for various aspects of Human Resources function at University of Toronto. As a senior academic administrator for close to twenty years, (including being Director of the former OISE, Principal of Woodsworth College and now Vice President, HR & Equity), she has a general interest in post secondary administration as well as organizational growth and change. She has particular interests in the following areas: academic leadership, in relation to gender and diversity; succession planning within the post secondary system; employment relations and best practice within academic HR; interest based collective bargaining; human rights legislation and associated best practice; the intersectionality of equity issues, especially within the post secondary system; environmental/occupational health and safety in a research intensive setting; Continuing Education, both credit and non-credit, particularly for professional programs.
