About the Person
Andrew Lenhardt is the Executive Director of Human Resources at University of Southern Indiana, effective June 1, 2016. As Executive Director, Lenhardt will be responsible for leading the University`s human resources team, which provides faculty/staff recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, benefits design, negotiation and administration, compensation administration and performance management, payroll, immigration services, training and development, and legal compliance, including campus-wide Title IX compliance and non-discrimination for more than 2,500 employees and more than 9,000 students. Lenhardt currently serves as the director of human resources and as the affirmative action and equal opportunity officer Title IX deputy coordinator for Indiana University East in Richmond, Indiana. He previously served for six years as associate/assistant director of human resources for Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Lenhardt holds a bachelor`s degree in business administration and a master`s degree in public administration and policy analysis from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. He also holds certifications in the areas of Title IX administration and coordination, and crisis management and response through the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. He is, and has been, a member of a number of both state and national professional organizations, and has served on numerous boards and committees.
