About the Person
Allen Anderson is the Vice President of Marketing and Human Resources at Granite Falls Municipal Hospital & Manor, effective March 21, 2016. Allen currently serves as the Director of Human Resources, at Madison Healthcare Services (formerly Madison Lutheran Home) in Madison, Minnesota. While in Madison, Allen helped develop and administered a formal Human Resources Department. As part of his Human Resources duties Allen was very successful in recruiting several new providers to Madison Healthcare Services. He also served as the Interim Chief Executive Officer for one year. From 2010 to 2014 Allen worked as the Recruitment Coordinator, for Medi-Sota and the Rural Health Alliance where he recruited 54 allied professional staff and eight physicians for Medi-Sota and Rural Health Alliance members. During that time he built and still maintains key industry contacts that will benefit Granite Falls Municipal Hospital & Manor. Other positions Allen has held include time served as a Clinic Manager for Health Partners, as a Marketing / Recruitment Executive for Thrivent Financial and as a Financial Services Advisor for Prudential. Allen is a graduate of Globe College / Minnesota School of Business and he is currently pursuing his Long-Term Care Administrator License and Master`s Degree in Hospital & Healthcare Administration. Allen and his wife, Melissa, an Occupational Therapist, live in Montevideo. They have two kids, Jonas (4) and Aubrey (2). Outside of work, Allen enjoys golfing, the lake, and spending time with his family.
