About the Person
Mr. Ali R. Kutay founded WebAction, Inc. in 2012 and serves as the Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President. Mr. Kutay served as the Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of GoldenGate Software, Inc. since 2004. Mr. Kutay focuses on providing the strategy and vision as well as driving execution that enables GoldenGate to secure its leadership position in the market. Mr. Kutay served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of AltoWeb Inc. from 1998 to 2003 and also served as its President. He founded AltoWeb Inc., in 1998. From 1997 to 1998, Mr. Kutay served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of WebLogic Inc., which was merged with BEA Systems Inc. in 1998. Mr. Kutay served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Lockheed Martin Corp.`s Commercial Software Business Unit, Formtek, from 1990 to 1997. At Formtek, Mr. Kutay served at various roles including its President and Chief Executive Officer from 1985 to 1989. He serves as a Member of Board of Advisors at Peak Games. Mr. Kutay serves as Member of the Advisory Board of ST-Infonox, Inc. Mr. Kutay served as a Member of the Board of Directors of Docent Inc., from April 2000 to March 2004. He served as a Director of SumTotal Systems Inc., since March 2004. He served as a Director of WebLogic Inc. Mr. Kutay holds a B.S. and M.S. degree in Engineering from Middle East Technical University and has completed graduate work at Carnegie Mellon University.
