The Alaska SeaLife Center generates and shares scientific knowledge to promote understanding and stewardship of Alaska`s marine ecosystems. While primarily dedicated to marine research, the Center is the only permanent facility permitted to rescue and rehabilitate marine mammals and birds, and is the only public aquarium in the state of Alaska.
