Alan Momeyer is vice president of human resources for Loews Corporation. He is responsible for overall strategy and management of the human resource function. Alan has been with Loews since 1980. Alan is author of numerous articles on personnel management. He holds a masters degree from the University of Pittsburgh and a bachelors degree from Pennsylvania State University. Alan is president of JobsFirstNYC, a non-profit organization focused on creating solutions in the workforce development field for the 175,000 young adults in New York City who are out-of-school, out-of-work and out-of-options. He is also a board member of The Town Hall, the non-profit National Historic Landmark performance space in New York founded by suffragists. Alan is a member of the board of trustees of his graduate school at the University of Pittsburgh. He is married to Janet Markoff and they have a daughter, Lily, and a son, Jack. He lives in Greenwich Village, New York City, and he always will.
